Bud has been a master guide for trophy stripers on the lakes of East Tennessee for the last 20 years. He is regarded as one of the best in business. Bud has been featured in numerous publications including Field & Stream.

Where We Fish
Bud goes to where the fish are biting! Our home lake would be Cherokee Lake, a short 30 minute drive from downtown Sevierville Tennessee. We also guide on Norris, Loudon, Douglas, Watts Barr and the river headwaters that feed these lakes.
What to Expect
A Typical Fishing Trip
Book well in advance
- You'll need a TN fishing license, proper clothing, hat and any food/beverages you'll need during the trip.
- You'll arrive at the predetermined ramp/dock usually at daylight.
- Bud will have everything ready to go fishing. You just hop in with your belongings and off you go!
- We uses specialized equipment for these large stripers, so we require you to use our fishing gear. Just leave your fishing stuff at home, we have it covered.
- A typical outing last roughly 6 hours or until you're just whipped from dragging in the fish.
- Striper Slayers typically practices catch and release. If you wish to keep the fish you catch you'll have to abide by Tennessee Wildlife regulations for doing so.
